GreenPomelo® Real Nappies Trial Scheme

Try before you buy!

Although our nappy range is pretty limited at the moment, we want to give people a feel of what using GreenPomelo Real Nappies is like. The idea is to let you test drive our nappies to see if you like using them before investing to buy our super-saver pack. This will give you an idea about their absorbency, how it fits onto your little ones, its drying time and durability in your home environment. 

To kick start your trial there are 3 options you can choose from:

1. Use our normal pay as you go route.
2. Trial with Real Nappies for London voucher, RNfL.
3. Trial with NapNap voucher.
   

With RNfL voucher:

If you live in London, you can have a free trial using your Real Nappies for London Vouchers, funded by your local Borough Council. Listed below are the councils that have these incentives:

• £25.00 for Lewisham
• £30.00 for Redbridge         
• £40.00 for Bexley, Southwark & Tower Hamlets 
• £54.15 for Camden, Hackney, Haringey & Islington

So how does it work?

Please follow these steps:

• Select “Hire Conditions”. Read through. Once happy, click “Purchase”.

• One “Hire Conditions” purchase click is for a trial period of one week.
• Two ““Hire Conditions” purchase clicks means you would like a trial period of two weeks.

What should you expect to pay? 

The nappy trial deposit is based on a 65% retail value of all the items you're borrowing. Each nappy hire cost is £1 per item per week. Each single bamboo hire cost is 25p. They will be sent to you freshly laundered. Unlike other trail schemes, we don't believe you should pay 100% deposit as you are borrowing pre-loved nappies, but all in good usable quality conditions.

The delivery fee goes by weight: please see our Postage & Warranty page. Our UK postage is capped at £6.00!

When you spends £10 or more on you first trial scheme, we will give you a roll of GreenPomelo® disposable biodegradable Bamboo liners for FREE, worth £4! These items will be sent to you via recorded delivery and your hire period will start the following day.  At the end of your nappy trial period (1 or 2 weeks), return the items to us, clean and dry, and let us know whether you would like to place an order. If you do decides to place an order with us we will give you a further FREE £5 GreenPomelo voucher to help you get started with an order over £50. You see we are just a big fan of real nappies! :)

Example details: 

You would pay £54.37 (£48.37 deposit + p&p £6.00). Unless you live in Hackney, then you can collect them in person.

At the end of your trial period, it is your responsibility to return the nappies to us. (Sorry, we are unable to refund any P&P costs). If you decide not to purchase any items from us, then a £37.87 refund will be return to you (deposit of £48.37, minus £10.50 hire charge). 

If you decide to place an order we would give you a discount of £53.37 from the total of your purchase, plus FREE £5 GreenPomelo voucher (provided your purchase amounts is more than £53.37!). Therefore the nappy trial is effectively free!

Please note that if your order value is less than your deposit, you will have the option of carrying forward any remaining unused deposit, as a credit against your next purchase.
